10 Wrestlers You Totally Forgot Worked For ECW

8. Arn Anderson

Arn Anderson was so entrenched in the fabric of southern wrestling that it felt like he was always there.

Even years later, there's something strange (but not not awesome) about the sight of the Brain Busters in the WWF. You can readily imagine Arn, a beacon of professionalism, casting a jaded, withering eye towards the juiced up monsters named after a plan for mass genocide and thinking, well, sh*t. It was a great industry, once upon a time.

WCW's Arn also cast a withering eye towards ECW, in which he performed for an underwhelming One Night Stand as part of a reluctant and doomed working agreement between the two promotions. When WCW ripped off ECW's 'When Worlds Collide' event name in 1994, Arn and Bobby Eaton were parachuted to the north east as an apologetic, lawsuit-diffusing gesture.

Arn, "just passing through", wasn't happy with his match with Terry Funk versus Sabu and Eaton (!); he was miffed that Terry Funk and Sabu did what Terry Funk and Sabu were wont to do - i.e. half-kill one another with tables and chairs. Arn, feeling sabotaged, grabbed a defiant headlock on Bobby Eaton, and wrestled the bare bones of a southern-style wrasslin' match before getting the hell out of there.

He did unleash his magical spinebuster on Sabu, but the match is little more than a half-a*sed artefact.
