10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Beat The Undertaker

6. Goldust - Casket Match IC Title (In Your House: Beware Of Dog)

At first glance, The Undertaker and Goldust seem like polar opposites, but there are more similarities to their characters than one would think -- after all, both are masters of mind games. For that reason, the feud between the two in the spring of 1996 produced some entertaining television. Still, with Intercontinental Champion Goldust set to defend his title against the Phenom in a casket match, it looked like a certainty that The Undertaker would be a champion for the first time in years. Still, regardless of characters, both men are double-tough brawlers who came up the hard way, and there was no doubt that a clash between them would be exciting. Goldust brought his A-game, taking Undertaker down and nearly sealing him in the casket on a couple of occasions, but 'Taker fought back, eventually nailing his opponent with the Tombstone. When Undertaker signaled for the casket to be opened, though, Mankind popped out! He assaulted The Undertaker, using his Mandible Claw finisher to put the Phenom out. He then tossed Undertaker in the golden casket and closed it, giving Goldust the victory. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xpfuuo_goldust-vs-undertaker-casket-match-ic-title-5-28-96_sport So, yes, technically, it was Mankind who beat The Undertaker in this case, but in the record books (if they existed), it goes down as a win for Goldust€ a win nobody was expecting.
