10 Wrestlers You'll NEVER Believe Shared The Same Ring

3. Hardcore Holly & Karrion Kross

One wonders why Hardcore Holly, pre-lockdown, hadn't made his fortune on the irony indie scene.

He'd make a killing.

All he'd have to do is stand there for a few minutes and look Marko Stunt up and down like he was a piece of absolute sh*t. Marko would get the laughs by timidly approaching the lock-up and scurrying away. He'd get the pop by launching into a flurry of wildly ill-advised offence. Hardcore would get the pin and indeed the satisfaction of making Marko's brains ooze out of his ears with the Alabama Slam.

So the question is this: is Hardcore Holly uninterested in lowering himself, or are the promoters too afraid to ask?

He does still make the odd town, does Hardcore, who otherwise is retired. He seems to only wrestle the more burly and serious modern players, which leads us to Hardcore Holly Vs. Killer/Karrion Kross from last year.

It's not that much of a stretch, to be honest, beyond the wild generation gap: Holly likely saw something in his fellow gruff meat-and-potatoes brick sh*thouse, grunted in approval down the phone at the promoter, and proceeded to work a very drab though hard-hitting 10 minute-r.
