10 Wrestling Answers Given YEARS Later
The REAL reason they called it a local medical facility for so long...

The wrestling business can certainly be a mysterious one.
Time and time again over the decades, moments have occurred (or not) that have left folks at home scratching their heads. Rather than provide a satisfying answer to a burning question that was very much on the minds of those who invest their time into the product, though, wrestling has often refused to give its audience the information they desire.
We're not just talking about storyline scenarios, either. Everything from why specific matches never happened, the reason behind an icon's entrance sometimes feeling like it didn't want to end, and why pretty much every WWE star doesn't look down a certain camera are all things viewers were left to merely speculate on...
...until now.
It may have taken many years, but some rather interesting answers to all of the above questions, when a British legend really had their final match, why another famous wrestling Brit actually retired, and more were finally given in the end.
It's time to discover the truth behind many a wrestling question you've no doubt found yourself asking at one point or another, then.
10. Why Todd Grisham Said "It's Christian" Like That

Unquestionably one of the most deflating returns in wrestling history, Christian's WWE comeback in 2009 was utterly surreal.
The TLC icon left the company four years earlier, heading off to TNA. He'd enjoy one of the most impressive and acclaimed spells of his career over there, but eventually decided it was time to come back to the world of sports entertainment.
Rather than the commentators losing their damn minds at the sight of the comeback Captain, though - you know, like they typically do in their quest to create a Moment - Todd Grisham delivered one of the most pathetic reactions of all time.
His bland, half-arsed, "It's Christian," upon seeing the star suddenly appear on the ECW show instantly undermined what should have been one of Christian's greatest-ever arrivals.
For years, fans wondered why on earth Grisham decided to react like Christian had never really left, and in October 2024 they were finally given an answer. Unsurprisingly, it was a choice from the mind of Cage's biggest hater: Vince McMahon.
In case you weren't aware, it's been well-documented (via Inside the Ropes) that McMahon never really adored this half of the Edge & Christian duo. And Grisham would eventually reveal on X that he was told by Vince right before he walked out to the announce desk that night not to get excited by the return and simply say "It's Christian."
So, that's what he did, and an infamous return was born.
