10 Wrestling Books You Must Read Before You Die

3. Titan Sinking

In similar fashion, Titan Sinking presents the case of the World Wrestling Federation. Back in 1995, the WWF wasn't quite the slick, money-making machine that WWE is today. Indeed, general perception of the company was that it was a faded beast, one which had run out of ideas to draw people in and drum up business. Looking at things clearly, that was exactly the case. If any current fans feel Vince McMahon's operation is dire in 2015/2016, they should rewind around 20 years and take a look at what was happening in 1995/1996. As a companion piece, Titan Shattered is also excellent, but it's the first book that takes the prize. There's so many unheard of stories in these pages, and it must be read by those who were watching at the time. Pro wrestling was a different animal in 1995. The internet was still in its infancy, and many people didn't really know about things happening behind the curtain. Titan Sinking pulls that curtain back, providing older fans with an eye-opening trip back to the 'New Generation' Era. This is like a nostalgic, wrestling version of the 'Ghost Of Christmas Past', revealing things which had seemingly been lost to time.
