10 Wrestling Documentaries That Accidentally Uncovered Major Scoops
3. Neville Is Sick Of His Life
Ride Along in itself accidentally revealed a major scoop (to the mainstream at least), one that appalled Kristine Leahy of FOX Sports: WWE independent contractors escort themselves around the country in rental cars at their own expense. It's not great. These people travel and bump for a living and are meant to be stars rested ahead of fatiguing competitions.
This doesn't happen, and WWE being WWE, they outwardly broadcasted this on their own Network. Ride Along was a show on which the knackered contractors, who dedicate almost their entire lives to their jobs, were forced to turn off the radio and perform when they were off the clock and drive themselves to a cheap motel bed. The show itself was a lackadaisical exposé of WWE's lousy approach to worker's rights, and one episode revealed a genuine scoop in plain sight: the former Neville was miserable and on his way out of the door.
An episode featuring the escapades of Sasha Banks and Bayley was uploaded in October 2017. They spotted the former Neville (PAC) at a rest stop and Bayley, as a prank, asked to take a selfie with him. He flatly refused, asked Bayley if she was filming Ride Along, and said "F*ck Ride Along". He's a miserable man by default, but he was particularly foamin' here. He went acka.
PAC left that very month, and if you rolled your eyes during the first two paragraphs above, look how long they left him in stasis.
