10 Wrestling Documentaries You Need To See Before You Die
10. Finding Hulk Hogan
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vK6RN-ySGDM Hulk Hogan is one man millions of people must figure has it made - how could somebody not be happy with all that money, history and fame? Sadly for the man behind the persona, Terry Bollea, personal demons took control of his life several years ago, and it must have been a pretty humbling experience for the guy to lose the bulk of his fortune to his now ex-wife. This documentary explores Hogan's attempts to come to terms with his own mortality. If that sounds unbelievably over-the-top, please remember this is Hulk Hogan, and keep in mind just how huge a star he was in the 1980's and 90's. Interestingly, the film pretty much states that Hogan only signed on with TNA for the money, which shouldn't really come as a major surprise to most wrestling fans, but it's nonetheless intriguing to hear it said so casually. Hulkamania is currently in the enviable position of working when it likes in WWE, and Hogan must be enjoying dipping his toe back into working with the company with which he built his franchise. Things are better for the man in 2015, but it's sobering to think that only 5 years ago, Hulk Hogan was battling his own ego, and the arrogance of others around him.
