10 Wrestling Documentaries You Need To See Before You Die
9. Scott Hall - The Wrestler
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gL4IbTRRtSc Speaking of former wrestlers who have been pulled back from the brink, there are few better examples than Scott Hall. In 2011, Hall was a complete mess, confined to a wheelchair as he battled various alcohol and drug problems which had plagued him for most of his adult life. In the same year, Hall declined invitation to see his close friend, Shawn Michaels, be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. The former Razor Ramon turned down the offer due to doubts about his ability to stay sober throughout, which paints a rather vivid picture of just how deep-rooted his problems were. In 2013, DDP Yoga, and the help of friends, saved Hall's life. Melodramatic, maybe, but that statement is something Hall himself has confirmed as true. Now fitter, healthier and in a better place, Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2014, just three years after he neglected to attend the ceremony. In 2011, ESPN ran this piece on Hall, and it's a sad state of affairs. Far from gloating about his troubles, the producers instead try to tap into exactly why Scott Hall has been such a menace to himself over the years. It's relatively short and sweet, but this doc is fascinating.
