10 Wrestling Dream Matches That Could Realistically Happen In 2022
5. Roman Reigns Vs. The Rock
This is a match that fans have been begging for ever since The Tribal Chief began to take hold of his main event spot. It's almost a legendary phantom at this point, being rumoured for PPV's constantly but never quite coming along. Although Dwayne Johnson has stated that he won't be wrestling Reigns at WrestleMania 38, there's still some hope left in fans.
Right now, Roman is (apologies) reigning supreme as Universal Champion, but things are a little dicier with The Rock. The recent anniversary of his debut at Survivor Series has left fans feeling dissatisfied with his lack of attendance, and WWE should seek to cleanse this sour taste from their mouths, lest they breed any contempt for the star himself.
The best way to make up for botching this moment could be to finally give viewers the epic showdown they've been clamouring for. Sure, The Rock is a busy man, but 2022 could finally be the year they manage to get him on board for this once in a lifetime match (now why does that sound so familiar?).
