During a Twitter Q&A with fans this week, Bubba Ray Dudley revealed that WWE turned down a show idea he pitched for the Network.

It's unclear whether or not Dudley wanted to host the show himself, but he envisioned a game show similar to long-running US TV standard Hollywood Squares. The game, relying on guests to answer questions that form lines of correct answers diagonally or horizontally across the square, would have come with a WWE twist.

Bubba's idea was to call the show "Superstar Squares" and invite hardcore fans on so they could show off their knowledge of the product. In theory, it's a fine concept, but WWE weren't interested. That surprised Dudley, because he believed the show would be "fun and entertaining" to those who love pro wrestling trivia.

He has a point.
