7. WWE Stars Are Specifically Warned Against Ad-libbing

WWE Raw Promo Script Ad Lib

Any hardcore fan would agree that it'd be awesome to get one's hands on a WWE script and read through every minor detail. There's sure to be some eye-opening stuff in there, right? Well, there is. A fan on Reddit somehow got his hands on a paper copy of the format for this past Monday's B-Team barbecue segment on Raw and posted it online.

Browsing through WWE's self-imposed rules is fascinating.

One of the most notable is smack bang in the middle of the rule sheet. Per WWE's direction, Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas, The Revival, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Titus Worldwide, The Ascension and Breezango were on a tight schedule, and they were told outright not to ad-lib.

That's interesting, because some of the best promos in history have relied on individual experimentation rather than strictly following a script. When seeing how much material stars have to memorise, you may just have more sympathy for them.
