Whilst talking to WrestleZone Radio, Wade Barrett said that the result of the 2015 King Of The Ring tournament hadn't been decided with less than one hour to go before his final against Neville. Scrambling, WWE eventually decided on Barrett as the victor.

From there, the Englishman was handed the familiar royal gimmick, including a resplendent robe, scepter, and crown. Eagle-eyed viewers will have noticed something about the outfit; it had been used almost a decade before by someone else. In 2006, Booker T won the WWE King Of The Ring, immediately thereafter being referred to as 'King' Booker.

According to Barrett, the decision to have him wear the same attire was taken last minute. This is why he ended up with hand-me-downs from the WWE Hall Of Famer. For his part, Barrett was never too happy with the whole 'King' idea, feeling it made a mockery of his win more than actually talking it up.

It's hard to argue with that point, but it is fascinating to learn that his royal garb was the exact same outfit worn by Booker T.
