Ready to make his MMA debut, Phil 'CM Punk' Brooks has repeatedly stated that he can't wait to set foot inside the Octagon. His first fight has been a long time coming, but those interviewing the man just can't resist asking the man about his lengthy tenure in the pro wrestling world.

Hot 97 were the latest to do so during a radio interview with Punk, wondering if he misses playing the character he did on WWE programming. In typically brash style, the former World Heavyweight Champion fired back that he no longer has the same needs he once did because he's not the same person.

Taking the question and really running with it, Punk also said that he had managed to get the WWE character out of his system after so many years of portraying it. It almost sounds like the guy was bored by the time he left the biggest promotion in the entire industry back in 2014.

Now, Punk's full focus is on UFC, but there's little doubt his claims will rile some within the pro wrestling world.
