8. Tommaso Ciampa Isn't Interested In WWE's Main Roster

Before he was stricken by a serious, career-halting neck injury, Tommaso Ciampa was a made man on NXT and starting to work on the main roster. Then, disaster struck, he was forced to vacate the NXT Title and his potential tag-team run with Johnny Gargano on Raw and SmackDown was abolished.

That's not something Ciampa would be interested in when he returns.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the 'Blackheart' said he'd flat out tell WWE officials "no" if they posted him to either major brand. He considers himself an NXT lifer. That's the show he feels comfortable on, and it's where he wants to make his mark when he launches a post-injury comeback.

The sticking point here is that WWE's climate is changing. With Paul Heyman in charge on Raw, Ciampa would be guaranteed a fairer shake. Although his fans would love to see him back in the mix for the NXT Title, it'd also be awesome to see him do the kinds of things Ricochet is on Monday nights too.
