When WWE's announce teams call John Cena one of the most 'polarising' figures in history, it's not difficult to imagine that many wrestling fans roll their eyes. This comes across as management covering up for the heavy booing that accompanies Cena to the ring whenever he appears. Of course, there are cheers too, they're just not usually as loud as the boos.

That's something Kevin Owens was keen to point out when chatting with Main Event Radio recently. Cena was one of KO's first big rivals when he made the jump from NXT to the main WWE roster, and the heel was taken aback by the volume of noise when John made his entrance.

Owens and Big Cass, who recently teamed with Cena on Raw, have discussed this behind the scenes. Neither could quite believe the response, claiming it was utterly deafening and hard to distinguish between boos and cheers.

It might not be a popular mindset to have, but Owens clearly wasn't mincing his words when stating his belief that John Cena is one of a kind.
