10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (11 Oct)

1. Hulk Hogan Dissed TNA During WWE Talks

Circle 5 April 2020 as a date that could be historic for all the wrong reasons.

Hulk Hogan told LA Times this week that he's seriously been pitching a return to the ring in Tampa's Raymond James Stadium. That's not all. Hulk wants to wrestle Vince McMahon on the supercard in his hometown, and he wants it to be his retirement match. Uh oh, here comes trouble.

When he was pitching the bout to McMahon, Hogan said that he couldn't stomach that TNA was the last company he'd wrestled for. Hulk was referring to his Bound For Glory 2011 effort opposite Sting (which, being fair, wasn't as bad as it could've been considering Hulk didn't bump). Technically, he also worked a few tag matches on TNA's 2012 UK tour.

Insulting his former employers was a little uncalled for. This writer has nostalgia by the bucket load for Hulk's career, but seeing him wrestle again would probably be a train wreck far worse than Goldberg vs. The Undertaker at Super Show-Down. Let it go, brother.
