10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (13 March)

10. WWE Infuriate Young Bucks

https://twitter.com/NickJacksonYB/status/575336409571069952 Bizarrely, WWE have filed for copyright to trademark the hand gesture most fondly-remembered as being used by the Clique, or Wolfpack - the horned hand signal has recently become synonymous with the Bullet Club, who are tearing it up in New Japan Pro Wrestling. It's unclear whether or not the promotion will be successful in their attempt to exclusively own the rights to a simple hand gesture, but just by trying, Vince McMahon's company have irked The Young Bucks, part of the Japan-based stable. Nick Jackson recently tweeted out a series of messages aimed at WWE, insinuating that they're simply jealous about how over the faction is getting, and that it baffles McMahon that someone he doesn't control could be so successful. The Bucks had a lengthy association with TNA at one time, but haven't really been linked much with WWE. It seems unlikely they ever will be, although that doesn't really seem to bother the brothers, who have made a success of themselves in the Orient. The hand gesture hasn't exactly been critical to that success, but it still must annoy them that WWE want ownership.
