10. Eric Bischoff Once Held JR's White Goods Hostage

If you were confused by that intro's last line, then just wait for this.

Back in 1993, when Jim Ross left WCW and joined the WWF, he was left infuriated by Eric Bischoff. What did Bisch do? Make it difficult for Jim to cancel his contract on his way out? Badmouth his announcing work to others at Turner? Nope, he confiscated his refrigerator and washing machine.

On Something To Wrestle With, Bruce Prichard told how Jim could often be found complaining during his early WWF days about how Eric ignored his request to access Turner storage. That's where his surplus white goods were, but he couldn't reach them because WCW refused to play ball. This had to be a rib.

It apparently took Ross a fair number of repeated, angry phone calls before Bischoff relented and gave him back his stuff. That petty nonsense is still a little less embarrassing for one of wrestling's greatest voices than wearing a damn toga for his debut at WrestleMania IX. Probably.
