Something more light-hearted to finish with than a struggling, hurt Yoko? You got it.

In an iconic moment, former heel Lex Luger turned babyface by storming the scene on the USS Intrepid and body slamming Yokozuna in 1993. This is where the tale gets funny, and it shows the lighter side of Mr. Fuji; either that or the crafty old war horse was just getting back at his man for all those ass-wiping sessions.

Prichard said on his podcast that the ring was set up on the ship's deck early in the morning. That meant the sun was beating down on the canvas for hours, and it meant the thing was red hot by the time Yoko slipped off his sandals and prepared for the timeless angle. Feeling the heat and leaping around like he was on hot coals, Yokozuna tried to get his flip-flops back on.

Fuji, a classic rib-merchant, kicked them off the ring apron and demanded that his charge get back inside the ring. That's why, in footage from the incident, Yokozuna practically no-sold Luger's slam and left the ring as quickly as he could. His feet were burning up in 107-degree heat.
