At this stage in his life and career, Jim Ross doesn't need to suck up to anybody or hide his true thoughts. That must be why he was gently critical of AEW's recent All Out pay-per-view when he appeared on Busted Open Radio after the show. To JR, the formatting was a bit much.

He thought the broadcast was "maybe too long".

When pressed for details, Ross said he'd have put a buffer match between The Young Bucks vs. Lucha Bros ladder war and the Chris Jericho vs. Hangman Page main event. To the announcer, the back-to-back blast of big matches had a negative impact on the fans in attendance. They seemed a little burned out by the time the headliner came along.

A handful of honest fans on social media have already brought up the pacing issues on AEW shows thus far. They're going hell for leather constantly, and it doesn't allow for familiar emotional peaks and troughs so fans can settle back down before going wild at key moments.
