8. Brock Lesnar Questioned Why Drew Galloway Was In 3MB
Since seeing his contract terminated by WWE in June, 2014, Drew Galloway hasn't exactly been resting easy.
Instead of crowing about being an underused ex-WWE superstar, the Scot has only improved his in-ring skills further and become one of the most sought-after bookings on the independent scene. Currently, he plies his trade in companies like TNA and ICW, and he's also the current TNA Heavyweight Champion.
Sports Illustrated's Extra Mustard hosted a chat with Galloway this week, and he revealed an interesting story about his WWE departure.
Having been recast as a goofy rocker in the 3MB faction alongside Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal, Galloway (then known as Drew McIntyre) was approached by none other than Brock Lesnar. Keeping things short and sweet, 'The Beast' had a quick question for his Scottish counterpart.
Intrigued, Lesnar asked Galloway why he had agreed to play such a gimmick. For Drew, he wanted to snatch anything the creative team handed him, proving he could turn anything into gold. It didn't sit well with Brock, however, who apparently didn't think the character was befitting of Galloway whatsoever.
