Following the captures of names such as Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Bret Hart, people started to sit up and take notice of WCW like never before, and the bets were on regarding who was next to make the leap. One of the most commonly mentioned names was Shawn Michaels, who many fans felt would much rather be back with his buddies Hall and Nash rather than toiling for less money in Vince McMahon's promotion.
