Millions on social media lent their support to Renee Young when WWE announced last week she'd join the commentary team for this week's edition of Raw. It felt like a landmark moment, and it was fully-deserved; regardless of gender, Renee is very good at what she does.

When the news trickled down WWE's grapevine, someone else was delighted: Michael Cole. As Raw's lead announcer for around a decade now, Cole knows all too well the pressure that comes with sitting in the commentary chair and trying to please Vince McMahon backstage.

On Twitter, he revealed that Young lived up to her name by making him feel young again.

He must have been thrilled to learn he'd have someone new to work with this week, and he appreciated the modern sensibilities of both Renee and sharp-witted colour man Corey Graves. Here's hoping Cole put in a good word and Young gets the gig permanently.
