10. Chris Jericho Literally Performed Promos For Vince

At the tail end of his run with the company, Chris Jericho was rather sick of pesky WWE writers rocking up to him with a familiar phrase: "Um, Vince wants something changed". It was a never-ending back-and-forth, with creative acting as the middle men, so Jericho decided to grab his mic time by the balls.

There was only one thing for it. He'd have to act out his promos to McMahon.

On Konnan's 'Keeping It 100' podcast, Jericho said he eventually settled into a groove of knocking on Vince's office door, strolling in and launching straight into that evening's promo. By performing it in front of his boss, he could gauge exactly where McMahon's head was at without dealing with any interference from his minions.

Occasionally, he'd invite others he was working with (like Kevin Owens) in on these sessions. They became habit, a ritual born out of necessity due to WWE's heavily-scripted formatting and painful last-minute script changes.
