7. WCW's Lodi Was Originally Going To Be Called 'Skank'

No, the guys pictured above aren't some crappy WCW tag-team UK viewers would see on Channel 5's Worldwide show in 1999-2001. It is in fact ex-Raven's Flock member Lodi and some WCW production hack, and the shot is from one of those 'forgotten WCW stars' photo galleries WWE sometimes upload.

Had Lodi's reboot in 1997 happened however, he might be much more internet famous now.

Eric Bischoff told on his 83 Weeks podcast that Lodi was very nearly renamed 'Skank' in '97. That name was on a long list of monikers for Raven's entourage, and Bisch thought it was a good fit for Lodi. Unfortunately for the nWo leader, executives at Turner disagreed and said they couldn't green-light the name.

For those who don't know, skank is a term typically used to describe a promiscuous woman, and it can also mean a 'sleazy or unpleasant' person. To Eric, that was perfect, and it matched Raven's Flock nicely. Others disagreed, believing it was too controversial.
