What's your earliest childhood memory? That first day at school? An early birthday party that made you feel good? Maybe a family holiday that you'll never forget? How about hiding upstairs with your sister as a burly pro wrestler circles the house and daddy dearest packs a hand gun?

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, that's how Brian Pillman Jr recalled his formative years.

Brian Jr (who bears more than a passing resemblance to his father), remembers being told by the WWF's production crew to stay put. Downstairs, his father was shooting one of the promotion's most controversial angles, and staff were mindful of upsetting the kids. That's why, when filming started, Pillman's children were kept away from the drama.

They weren't stupid though, and they could hear all the commotion. Pillman Jr remembers the "pure emotion" and that he and his little sister were "freaking out" as Steve Austin marauded outside. It must have felt like a dream, or a nightmare.
