As 'The 1-2-3 Kid', Sean Waltman represented something different on the WWF landscape in the early-1990's. Favouring a more high-flying style, Waltman was also a far cry from muscled beasts like The Ultimate Warrior or Hulk Hogan. Nowadays, the guy must be considered an authority on the Cruiserweight style.

Via his 1, 2, 360 podcast, Waltman said this week that he has some issues with WWE's new 205 Live show. For the most part, he's happy the company are giving smaller athletes some spotlight. That's where the positivity ends, Waltman believes management are failing Cruiserweights with some production choices.

Firstly, Waltman doesn't like the purple ropes. Feeling fans use the time needed to change the rope colour to visit the bathroom, the former WWE star thinks that needs to stop. Secondly, Waltman criticised the fact 205 Live is shot after SmackDown in a half-empty arena, believing it takes away from the special feel Cruiserweight wrestling should have.

It's hard to argue with either of these points. Usually one to look on the bright side, Waltman thinks WWE are shooting themselves in the foot.
