By all accounts, the WWF Title match at the Royal Rumble 1993 pay-per-view is something of a hidden gem on the WWE Network. In his first shot at the belt, Razor Ramon faced Bret Hart for the gold right before the titular 30-man match itself took centre stage on the show.

Ultimately losing to the heroic Bret, Ramon became a babyface later that year himself. Scott Hall, the man behind the Razor gimmick, opened up about the Rumble bout to Total Wrestling Magazine recently. In that interview, he stated his belief that Hart had been selfish during the match and didn't do him any favours.

The entire crux of the match relied on Ramon looking dominant, setting the stage for Bret's big comeback and eventual victory against the odds. In order to tell that story, Razor was hitting Hart with some seriously good worked punches to the ribs and back.

According to Scott Hall, Bret could have sold these better than he did. Looking back on the match, the Canadian's ribs were the focal point, although Hall feels things could have been much more emotional had Hart not been so selfish.
