2. Shawn Michaels Considered Coming Out Of Retirement

In 2013, the fact that Shawn Michaels helped train Daniel Bryan, and almost acted as his mentor for years, was explored on WWE television. Strangely, even though HBK has expressly stated that he will never wrestle again, it seemed like the company were building to a match between the two, one which would have been very well-received by fans. During a recent interview, Michaels admitted that he contemplated coming out of retirement to face Bryan - remarking that he didn't give the idea thought for too long before deciding against it, Shawn nonetheless said that the angle peaked his interest, and had those old creative juices flowing. Previously, the former WWE Champion had said it would take a miracle to coax him back into the ring for even one more match, but it's intriguing to imagine facing someone like Bryan would make the man think twice.
