10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Feb 13)

10. To Fine Or Not To Fine?

Obviously, one of the biggest stories to come out over the past week, Seth Rollins social media woes - including the leaking of some pictures which could cost the man his engagement - look to have landed the star in hot water with WWE management. As a PG-focused company, WWE must surely be furious with Rollins for what transpired on both Instagram and Twitter. Nude photos were posted to the man's social media accounts, with Rollins claiming he was hacked. As of right now, it seems WWE management are inclined to believe him, but there are reports this week that Vince McMahon would like to fine his employee, more so to teach a lesson than anything else about the way his wrestlers use the internet. On the flipside, Triple H is apparently against the fine, feeling it won't necessarily achieve anything, and Rollins has been punished enough by having his personal life strewn across the internet. The decision to fine Seth will not be on taken lightly, and it's likely that management would rather go down that route than by punishing Rollins by aborting his top-line push on television. Right now, WWE need all the stars they can get their hands on, and Seth Rollins has proved his worth against opponents as big as John Cena and Brock Lesnar in recent times. Pushing him down the card could derail his momentum, which would be a crying shame for somebody so talented.
