8. Booker T Specifically Asked To Work With Awesome Kong

Booker T's TNA run wasn't a banner period of his career by any means, but he said on his podcast it did let him have some fun as part of the Main Event Mafia. It also gave Book the chance to harness his leadership skills and give back to the emerging youth of the industry. That's why, during a house show in Germany, he decided to surprise Awesome Kong.

In Hanover, on 30 September 2009, Booker teamed with Scott Steiner and Sharmell against Kong and Team 3-D.

Even though Kong expected to maul Sharmell during the match, and maybe trade a blow or two with Booker or Steiner, she didn't see Booker's plan coming. Backstage before the match, he told her he wanted to take a splash in the corner, a big slam and then another splash in the middle of the ring.

The whole thing was his idea, and the fans went wild. Kong almost started crying when Booker laid out the spot.
