Even a hotel named after WWE's 'Big Dog' can't top Mr. Kennedy's story on Sean Waltman's X-Pac 1, 2, 360 podcast this week.

In 2007, WWE seriously held talks about Kennedy winning an upcoming King Of The Ring tournament. He wouldn't become 'King' Kennedy though, no. Vince McMahon had other plans, and WWE's most powerful man was deliberating over the idea of calling his wrestler 'King Ken Kennedy'.

Yes, WWE almost heavily promoted a star with the initials 'KKK'.

Eventually, McMahon saw sense. Thankfully realising that the move would be too controversial and in very poor taste, he scrapped tentative plans. Kennedy himself was relieved, because he told Waltman that his blood ran cold upon hearing the idea; to Ken, becoming 'KKK' is something he'd never have been able to live down.
