5. Road Warrior Animal Was Supposed To Powerbomb Sid At WCW Sin

Anyone who watched it will never forget seeing Sid writhe around in pain with a broken leg at WCW's Sin pay-per-view in January, 2001. The big man had attempted a jump kick from the second turnbuckle only to completely shatter his leg just below the knee. Even writing about it is enough to give any fan goosebumps.

On his What A Rush podcast, Road Warrior Animal remembered debuting for WCW that night as a masked mystery man and shared his thoughts. He was originally supposed to hit the ring and smash Sid with his own Powerbomb, but that obviously wasn't going to happen with Sid on the canvas in agony.

Instead, he and Scott Steiner just booted Sid in the head tamely and that was that. So much for the big debut moment. Animal admitted he was gutted that the debut didn't come off, because he had planned to relaunch his career as a singles star in the company.

On the WWE Network version of the show, it's plain to see that Animal couldn't believe his luck.
