Being the daughter of a genuine legend can't be easy, especially if that man is the 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair.

For Charlotte Flair, living up to her dad's legacy was a constant challenge during the early days of her wrestling training. Things were made even harder for her by WWE trainers who had several simple rules: she couldn't 'Woo', she couldn't strut, she couldn't 'Flair Flop' and she couldn't lock on her dad's patented Figure-Four submission.

In short, Charlotte was told never to mimic her dad, and that's something she told Sport Bible actually hindered her during those first sessions. She hadn't been a big wrestling fan before trying it out, and so she didn't know much beyond her father's work. Following his patterns made sense to her, but that was taken away from day one.

It's amazing to know that WWE restricted Charlotte's natural instincts like this. Maybe they viewed it as a challenge; if she could overcome the limitations and thrive, she'd become better. If not, well, it wasn't meant to be.
