10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Jan 25)

1. TNA Almost Had A Tag-Team Called 'C*ck & Balls'

Vince Russo !*$% & Balls TNA
TNA/WWE

Gimmicks like 'The Johnsons' (a pair of walking, wrestling dicks in TNA) and 'Beaver Cleavage' (look it up) must rank amongst Vince Russo's worst creations ever. As horrible as both ideas were though, they arguably have nothing, nothing on one that didn't see the light of day in Impact.

To be fair, Russo can't take all the blame. It was Jeff Jarrett and Disco Inferno who asked him to come up with a list of 'R-Rated' characters. So, Vince went to work and came back with a tandem he believed would grab TNA some early ratings. They'd literally be a load of balls.

Ladies and gents, 'C*ck & Balls'.

Terry Taylor and Balls Mahoney were the pitch. Russo wanted to marry Taylor's old 'Red Rooster' gimmick (!*$%erel, get it?) with Mahoney's forename to make them a penis gag nobody wanted. Thankfully, as told on Russo's podcast, the idea fell by the wayside.
