3. Ronda Rousey Thought Her Debut Rained On Asuka's Moment

Ronda Rousey did a lot of sign pointing during her surprise appearance at the 2018 Royal Rumble.

Her shocking entrance happened minutes after Asuka had won the first ever all-female Rumble match, and that didn't sit well with Ronda. In a blog post posted on her personal website, Rousey confessed that she didn't like "stepping on Asuka’s moment". She felt WWE couldn't handled it better.

To Rousey, it was a bit cheap to muscle in on someone else's spotlight; Ronda didn't tell how she'd have booked her coming out party, but she was obviously wary of appearing as a high and mighty celeb to WWE's full-time female roster. In another forthright moment, she said she didn't have a clue what she was doing out there.

It was easy to see even then that Ronda was awkwardly trying to play WWE superstar rather than acting organically. Her sign pointing was so forced and cheesy, and she did rain on Asuka's parade a little. That wasn't her fault though.
