10 Wrestling Facts We Didn’t Know Last Week (Jan 29)
10. NXT Reminded James Storm Of TNA
On the whole, 'Cowboy' James Storm didn't stick around for a long time in NXT. Making his debut in October, 2015, the man only made a handful of appearances before deciding to head back to the company with which he made a name for himself. In early-January, Storm returned to TNA television and reformed the Beer Money tag-team with Bobby Roode. During a recent interview with Radio Yorkshire, Storm opened up on his time in World Wrestling Entertainment's developmental system and revealed that he feels more at home in Impact Wrestling. Intriguingly, the guy also compared NXT to what TNA used to be like years ago, something which is sure to split fan opinion. Comparisons with TNA are not treated as a compliment by many. Storm explained what he meant by saying there was a close-knit feel in NXT, which came across loud and clear to him the moment he stepped foot in the door. Back when TNA first formed, he says the same 'all for one and one for all' feeling existed in the company. Such a friendly atmosphere was something Storm enjoyed during his brief time in WWE.
