Over the past week, you may have noticed your social media timelines filling up with all sorts of self-reflection, New Year's Resolution posts and 'Year In Review' blogs. Wrestlers aren't immune to this kind of contemplation, including current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy.

The Murph was in quite the thoughtful mood when he sat down to write his own look back on 2018.

According to the man himself, 205 Live saved his entire WWE career. If that sounds a bit over-the-top, then consider that Murphy was doing little on NXT before remodelling his body and slimming down for the Cruiser division. The opportunity to do so is one Buddy greatly appreciated last year.

So staunch is Murphy in his belief that 205 saved his hide that he stated he'd probably have been let go from contract without it. In fact, he outright said he "should've" been released before setting his sights on the brand earlier in the year.
