10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (July 14)
7. Chad Gable's Ultimate Goal Is Being Tag-Champs By WrestleMania
Things haven't quite worked out for Chad Gable and Jason Jordan on the WWE main roster. American Alpha have been SmackDown Tag-Team Champions, but it's tough to name even one memorable moment from their 84-day reign aside from the actual title win itself. Considering how over Alpha were on NXT, that's sad.
Gable is still holding out for more great moments as a team though, telling Sports Illustrated's Extra Mustard that he wants to be tag champs again come WrestleMania 34 and defend the belts on that show. Whilst that's not impossible, it also doesn't look too likely either. There's a much better chance WWE will split the team and Jordan will strike out on his own.
What that means for Gable's future is anyone's guess. Alpha have only been a team in the WWE system for 2 years, so it's poor that they haven't been able to trade the hotness of their NXT run for sustained main roster success.
