Many have laughed at WCW's decision to throw millions of dollars at Master P and his 'No Limit Soldiers' in 1999, but the fact is that P was a high-profile rapper with mainstream cred during that period. On his '83 Weeks' podcast, Eric Bischoff defended the move then told a freaky story about his run-ins with the group.

Backstage at the Great American Bash '99 pay-per-view, Bisch was in his dressing room when he heard a loud knock at the door. It was Master P and his entourage, and they didn't seem too happy. P shared his concerns about the finish to that night's match with The West Texas Rednecks, which made Eric ask what the problem was.

That's when one of P's heavies reached into his pocket and said they'd settle things one way or another.

Rightfully worried he might have a gun pulled on him, Bischoff pleaded for calm. All he could think of was that Kevin Nash had Powerbombed him in the very same arena in Baltimore three years earlier. Now, in 1999, he might get shot. Lovely.
