There's no doubt that Diamond Dallas Page deserves the WWE Hall Of Fame treatment for his contributions to the wrestling business; not only did Page himself have a remarkable late-blossom to his own career in WCW, he has also helped save the lives of men like Scott Hall and Jake Roberts over the past couple of years.

Whilst filming interview footage for his upcoming WWE DVD 'Diamond Dallas Page: Positively Living', a WWE employee handed Page the phone and said that the "boss" wanted to talk to him. The man on the other end of the call turned out to be Triple H.

Revealing his thoughts to Ring Rust Radio, Page said he thought Triple H was simply returning a call he had made previously, but also couldn't remember what he had called about initially.

After a few minutes of conversation, it suddenly dawned on DDP that Hunter wanted to tell him about induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame; the fact this call happened last October also confused Page, because nobody he knew had been informed about the Hall Of Fame until January at the earliest.

Page thought Triple H was phoning to discuss the documentary, not to tell him the good news about honouring his career.
