Having not defended the Women's World Championship since defeating Stephanie Vaquer for it at WrestleMania 42, it doesn't sound like WWE has any plans for Liv Morgan to put that gold on the line any time soon.

Per the latest episode of WrestleVotes Live on Fightful Select, the current plan is for Liv to advance to the final of the Queen of the Ring tournament, which takes place at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on June 27th. Interestingly, Morgan will not be defending the Women's World Title between now and Night of Champions, and it's believed that she won't defend that belt until SummerSlam over the weekend of August 1st and 2nd. If that does indeed prove true, that would be over 100 days from Liv winning that title to Liv having her first defence of that title.

Liv Morgan has only wrestled twice, period, since WrestleMania 42; picking up a win over Sol Ruca on the Raw after 'Mania, then winning a four-way Queen of the Ring match on Raw this week.

While some fans raised an eyebrow when Liv Morgan - the current Women's World Champion - was announced as a participant in this year's Queen of the Ring, the storyline presented on screen was the New Jersey native wanting to win all the gold. Of course, the winner of the Queen of the Ring earns themselves a World Title shot, meaning Liv could go after WWE Women's Champion Rhea Ripley should she win the tournament.

Speaking purely from your writer's standpoint, it seems pretty apparent that the injury to Stephanie Vaquer threw post-WrestleMania 42 creative plans up in the air for Liv Morgan. That said, recent reports suggest that La Primera is cleared and ready to return to WWE as and when called for.
