It's not exactly difficult to make Ric Flair cry. He's one of the most emotional performers in wrestling history, and has shed some tears more times than one could care to count. Following his in-ring WWE retirement back in 2008, Flair was likely feeling more sensitive than ever, and so Diamond Dallas Page decided to put things right between them.

Page told the Notsam Wrestling Podcast that he and Ric had some heat going back to the WCW days, and he was sick of carrying that baggage around. One day in Germany (when both were at the same signing convention), DDP approached Flair in the green room and asked for a chat.

That's when he laid bare his hatred of having heat with a hero of his and asked if they could start again.

Page stuck out his hand, said, "Hi, I'm Diamond Dallas Page" and Ric turned on the waterworks. "God bless you, brother", he said, before returning the favour. Any ill will disappeared in an instant and both have been great friends ever since.
