10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (March 27)

1. Brock Lesnar Re-Signs With WWE

Almost coming to tears, Brock Lesnar's announcement that he'd be stepping away from Mixed Martial Arts was shocking, followed up by another groundbreaking revelation. Re-signing with World Wrestling Entertainment, Lesnar has committed his future to Vince McMahon's promotion, saying that initial talks about a new contract went very well. The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion has long stated that whilst he adores the wrestling industry, he despises the travel associated with it, so it's highly plausible that this current deal offers limited dates and travel packages which suit Lesnar. This past Tuesday, Brock was a guest on the ESPN show, SportsCenter, revealing the news and leaving jaws agape. The ins and outs of the contract haven't yet been made public, but a tweet from Triple H suggests that the deal will run for at least a few years. Lesnar has unfinished business in UFC, being forced to walk away due to stomach problems and going out with a loss, but he reiterated that he has nothing left to prove in the fighting world, and his days as a fighter are firmly over. That remains to be seen, but this must be considered a huge boost for WWE right before WrestleMania 31. What other big news stories and facts from this week caught your attention?
