Enzo Amore's presence and confidence on the microphone cannot be understated; Enzo's partner Big Cass has the size and stature of a top WWE star, but it's true that his ascent to the main roster has been aided by Amore's natural 'gift of the gab'.

It may shock some then to learn that numerous WWE trainers at the Performance Center and in NXT have tried to cut Enzo several times since he signed for the company in 2012.

This subject came up during a Triple H interview with ESPN, and 'The Game' said that only he and Dusty Rhodes went to bat for the diminutive mic man; seeing something in Enzo, both Dusty and Triple H repeatedly defended Amore's talent.

Recognising that he probably wouldn't be a main event player as an in-ring performer, Triple H said that Enzo nonetheless always had a huge personality that he felt could help others connect with the core WWE audience.

It's hard to argue with that thinking when watching Amore and Cass on Raw, but it is a slight surprise to hear Enzo nearly never made it to Monday nights.
