The next time Charlotte Flair acrobatically front flips her way to the ring on WWE programming, take a look at her feet. No, we're not encouraging you to develop a foot fetish, don't worry. We only want you to sneak a glance at her wrestling boots and then play a game of 'Spot The Difference' with WWE's other women.

Flair revealed why when talking to Newsday.

Her pre-match routine involves taking 10 minutes to lace up her boots and focus on the night's work ahead. According to Charlotte, this isn't something that most other females on the roster have to think about, because they don't wear old-school wrasslin' boots at all. Instead, they wear smaller shoes with kick pads.

Those don't require huge laces, but Flair likes the ritual of preparing herself physically and mentally for each match. Charlotte noted during the interview that most male workers in WWE use the same boots she does, and that's also why she likes wearing them. It gives her a sense of equality.
