The daughter of former WWF Tag-Team Champion Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart, Natalya has been around professional wrestling pretty much her wholelife. That family tie comes with unique pressures, and Natalya is also closely related to the Harts. 2015 should have been a great year for her, but it proved to be immeasurably tough.

Speaking with Sporting News to promote upcoming WWE events, Natalya said that she found it difficult to sit on the sidelines throughout much of 2015 and watch others enjoy the 'female revolution' surging through the company.

Younger stars like Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Paige and Becky Lynch all had their moments, whereas Natalya had to be content with largely sitting out injured and taking part in the Total Divas reality show instead.

Add to that the fact her husband, Tyson Kidd, received a career-threatening injury and she also suffered a broken ankle herself, the year was a downer for the Canadian. She has managed to come through it, but claims that 2015 was by far the most challenging year of her life to date.
