On July 5, 2016, TNA aired one of the most bizarre matches of all time. Even calling the 'Final Deletion' a wrestling match seems strange, it was more akin to the mini-movies that WCW once presented in the early-1990's. A battle between Matt and Jeff Hardy, the skit was ultimately a success for Matt's 'Broken' character.

Around the same time as the 'Final Deletion' aired, WWE were holding a show inside Sumo Hall in Japan. Gathering around a monitor, numerous WWE performers watched in awe as the Hardy brothers staged one of wrestling's most unique encounters. In the thick of the crowd, Chris Jericho acted as ringleader.

Revealing this to The LAW, Y2J said that he encouraged everyone he could in WWE to check out the 'Final Deletion'. Top names such as John Cena and AJ Styles were watching alongside Jericho, and the Canadian said he wouldn't let anyone join in unless they agreed to watch from the start.

Rightly pointing out that WWE performers don't watch TNA programming often, Jericho said this proves just how genius Matt Hardy's current guise is.
