Kevin Kelly had another awesome story to share on Jericho's pod from his time working in WWE between 1996-2003.

One day, Curt Hennig approached he and Dave Hebner in Knoxville, Tennessee to tell them he'd seen Mr. Fuji working in a local movie theatre. When Dave heard the news, he was shocked, and he immediately suggested they go to tell Vince about it. Kelly put the thought out of his head and continued working.

Later, Hennig told him that McMahon, without hesitation, stuffed $10,000 into a nearby envelope and instructed him to "take it to Fuji". This was part of a segment on Talk Is Jericho that had Y2J and Kelly discussing the guys Vince wanted to take care of for life. Fuji, a long time servant who had once worked for his father, was one of those men.

McMahon didn't give the 10K idea a second thought. To Kelly, that said everything; cynics reading this might be tempted to wonder if Hennig, a notorious ribber, was up to his old tricks and fancied a cash bonus. Surely not.
