The past 6/7 years have been incredibly interesting for Bret Hart. In 2010, the Hitman returned to WWE screens for the first time since the infamous 'Montreal Screwjob' of 1997. Burying the hatchet with Shawn Michaels, the Canadian also faced Vince McMahon in an ill-advised brawl at WrestleMania XXVI.

Throughout numerous shoot interview appearances, Bret also disparaged Triple H as someone who couldn't lace his boots. Along the way, he has also been highly critical of Seth Rollins, stating his belief that Rollins was a dangerous worker who was in real danger of killing a fellow performer. Naturally, these comments didn't sit well with Seth, who seemed incredulous when speaking on Chris Jericho's Talk Is Jericho podcast after the fact.

This week, Hart posted a lengthy passage on Facebook apologising for his remarks. In the same few paragraphs, Bret also said sorry to Michael Hayes for claiming that The Fabulous Freebirds didn't belong in the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Upset with himself for coming across as bitter and dismissive, Hart said he regretted his words about Triple H, Hayes and Rollins.
